Bowling is a perfect activity to do with children in gym class. They can practice aim, motor skills, eye-hand coordination, strength, and concentration. However, before taking them to a bowling alley, it’s a good idea for them to play at home or on the playground so that they can become more dexterous.
Nobody turns into a Simpson Homer overnight. That’s why we know the importance of teaching them from an early age so that they can become more fond of this sport. And who knows, maybe tomorrow they are real experts.
How can you teach kids to bowl? We’re going to give you some guidelines that you can use.
How do you play bowling at gym class?
Bowling Gymnastics
Bowling is very simple and also very social. In fact, if you bowl in gym class at school, it’s ideal to divide the class into groups and have several bowling games so you can make the most of your time.
Just keep in mind:
Bowling should be about 18 meters away.
Ideally, since you are not on a bowling alley, you should mark the track on the ground with chalk or tape.
Each player has 2 pitches. According to the bowling that he knocks down, he adds points. The one who has more points at the end of the game wins.
If he knocks down all the first time, we say he has done a strike and no longer throws the second time.
If he knocks them all down the second time, he has a “spare” (he has 10 points).
If you leave boluses standing in the two throws, it is a fall or open entry, but the points of the boluses you have managed to knock down (from 1 to 10) are added.
The maximum score or record is 300 points and is achieved when we have done 12 strikes in a row.

Learning to bowl
You can start bowling anywhere, it doesn’t have to be a bowling alley. In the beginning, the only thing you have to learn is the rules, the dynamics of the game and above all the practice and technique. They will have time later to go to a bowling alley properly.
Bowling balls can have different weights. Generally, in this sport, they are measured in pounds. If we translate them into kilos, we can find balls between 2 and 8 kilos approximately. As you know, these balls have a drill to introduce the fingers and make a more controlled throw.
However, with very young children it is not yet advisable to bet on regulation balls. There are lots of balls with weights adapted for children that can be used to play and have fun in Physical Education class, without the risk of hurting anyone.

Bowling games for children
Children’s bowling alley games are usually made of wood, plastic or even cloth. Let’s see some models that you can use to play. You can find them in the section of Physical Education and Sports Games.

BOWLING FOR THE KINDERGARTEN
If you’re looking for a simple game to give to your kids or play in the nursery, this is for you. They are the most recommended for children around 1-year-old, as they will not have to take hardly any weight. Here all that matters is to be able to throw the ball as hard as you can and knock down the bowling.
This Lilliputiens game is ideal for bowling with a very young child. Each bowling is shaped like an animal, all are colorful and look very nice.
Children bowling alley
There’s another Miniland bowling game that also has underweight balls and bowling that doesn’t make any noise when it falls. The truth is that one of the best ways to bowl at home without disturbing the neighbors. This game includes two balls, 10 pins, and a mat and is recommended for children about 3 years old.

BOWLING GAME FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS
This type of bowling is already a little louder and ideally, we play them on tiles or asphalt. It can be in the backyard, the schoolyard, the school gym or wherever.
These boluses are already recommended for children a little older, around seven years.
Each model includes a different feature and they also vary in price. The most economical of all is this game of 6 bowling and 3 balls. They come in a bag so you can keep them after the game.
There is another model of bowling game with a marker that also includes a wooden box for storing them. In this, we can see that there is a marker, so you can go marking the points and see who is winning. Its design, with two bands of blue and red colors, is also very nice and one of the ones we like the most.
Apart from these toys, there is another bowling kit that contains a larger number of bowling. Naturally, 9 bowling is a bit more complicated than 6, but if you want to play properly, this is the model that fits the professional game a bit more and on which I would bet.
